Administrative Assistant

Duty station: Khujand
Closing date: Open until filled

Habitat for Humanity-Tajikistan is seeking applications for the full time position of Administrative Assitant for its Branch in Khujand city.

Duties and responsibilities:
  • Greet and receive all visitors, suppliers, etc;
  • Register all incoming and outgoing correspondence;
  • Answer telephone calls; Send and receive faxes;
  • Make meeting arrangements;
  • Make travel arrangements during visits of National office staff as well as staff of HFHI;
  • Maintain the files and filing system in the Branch;
  • Assist in visa and registration obtainment process;
  • Type correspondence and other documentation when requested;
  • Assist staff with routine, administrative duties;
  • Provide logistical support, guidance and host international volunteer teams in Sogd region;
  • Coordinate and assist volunteer teams and local translators on the jobsite;
  • Collect evaluations from international volunteers worked in Sogd region and enter them online;
  • Assist RD & Communication Officer in preparation of informational flyers, banners, certificates & etc.
  • Maintain personnel files of Branch employees, ensure all files are complete, well filed and easily retrievable, maintain confidentiality.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree;
  • Working experience in non-governmental organization preferred;
  • Minimum one year working experience in administration;
  • Fluency in English, Tajik and Russian languages; 
  • Computer literate: MS Office, MS Windows XP, Internet, E-mail;
  • Good personal and communications skills;
