Resource Development Consultant

Duty station: Dushanbe

Habitat for Humanity Tajikistan is seeking a Resource Development Consultant who can coordinate and train a local employee while planning, developing, and directing all resource development and communications strategy for the benefit of Habitat for Humanity Tajikistan.

Duties and responsibilities:

Develop overall fundraising and communications strategy;
Improvement of current basic Resource Development and Communications systems and processes;
Cultivate new donor prospects, donor care and follow up with new and existing donors;
Develop partnership opportunities and grow relationships with embassies, international agencies and INGO´s based in Dushanbe;
Supervise the Communications department, develop and co-ordinate communications with a wide range of audiences and supporters;
Supervise the International volunteer program and improve the quality of pre-arrival communication, hosting and follow-up;
Proposal writing;
Train and build capacity of RD&C staff.

Requirements:

Native English speaker of fluent in English;
Long experience in living and working in multicultural settings;
Previous interaction with embassies, international agencies or INGO´s;
Bachelor degree;
Proven ability to work without close supervision, to use initiative and meet deadlines;
Management and coaching skills;
Experience in using Word, Excel, Power Point and databases;
Excellent (effective and confident) communication and presentation skills;
A committed team player;
